Katy Chapman
Monday Night Director

Katy Chapman will be returning to work with the Centre Wellington Children’s Drama Club after directing several successful productions with the club for the Monday night group.  She is a graduate of the University of Windsor’s BFA in Acting (Honours) Program, where she also worked as a TA in various courses. She also brings her experience teaching youth both as an ESL and as a swimming instructor. She enjoys sharing her love of the arts through her continued involvement in community theatre,  as both an actor and a Board member of the Elora Community Theatre.

Gerard Gouthro
Tuesday Night Director

Gerard’s first involvement with the CWCDC was more than a decade ago when he was brought in to run workshops on Voice and Acting with the children. A few years later, Gerard came on board as the writer and director for the Tuesday Night Group. Personally, he has been involved in theatre for twenty years and has taken on all sorts of different roles – from acting to stage managing to writing and directing. Beyond CWCDC, he has worked with students – both younger and older – and community groups in theatre. From 6 to 86, he has had the pleasure of bringing his passion for live theatre to people of all ages. His greatest joy in working with the CWCDC is seeing the growth and confidence in these young people as they learn and mature.
